Take a look at the bizarre emergency calls cops have to deal with!
London, July 24 (ANI): Cops in the UK have had to deal with some pretty bizarre emergency calls - like the time when a woman dialled 999 to ask them to find her glasses so she could prepare lunch.
Another time was when a woman who demanded officers save a squirrel close to a motorway - because there were no hazel nut trees nearby.

If you think this is funny then give a thought to cops who've had to deal with 8,400 calls like this in just the past year between June 2007 to July 2008.
Other calls made public by the Avon and Somerset force include those of a man asking what day it was, a student asking when the Internet was invented, a man complaining about his wife not cooking the meals, reports the Sun.
However leaving aside the funny side of the bizarre calls Chief Supt. Dave Hayler commented wasting the emergency services can cost lives and can result in criminal conviction. (ANI)
