Further, the Tribunal would be exempted from consultations with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in all matters concerning Group 'A' and 'B' posts in the Tribunal.
The creation of posts will facilitate the operationalisation of the Armed Forces Tribunal as an independent adjudicating forum, dispensing cost effective and speedy justice to the Armed Forces personnel, thus fulfilling a long felt need of the country's three Defence Services. (ANI)
