CCEA approves revised scheme of "Development of Primitive Tribal Groups"

New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today gave its approval for continuation of the scheme of "Development of Primitive Tribal Groups" during 11th five Year Plan with an outlay of Rs.670.00 crore.
The CCEA also gave its approval for two per cent budget of the Scheme for utilization for monitoring and management.

The revised scheme would benefit in focusing on specific interventions to cater to the needs in all spheres of socio-economic life of PTGs, the quality of life of PTGs is expected to improve and a visible impact made by the end of the 11th Plan period. (ANI)
