North Korea launches rocket

Seoul, April 5 (Xinhua) North Korea launched a Kwangmyongsong-2 rocket Sunday morning, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported.
The launch came a day after the Communist country said it had completed preparations for the launch of a communications satellite.
Meanwhile, South Korea also confirmed that North Korea fired the satellite from its base along its east coast, Yonhap said.
