Software engineer found dead in Noida call centre
Noida, April 1 (IANS) A software engineer was Wednesday found dead in the bathroom of the call centre he worked in here, the police said. He is said to have died of a heart attack.
Saurabh Jain, a 23-year-old working with HCL's call centre in Sector-60 in this satellite town near the capital, was found dead inside a bathroom on the first floor of the building in the wee hours of Wednesday, a police official said.
Saurabh's body was spotted by his colleague Raghav at 2 a.m. Wednesday, an official at the Sector-58 police station said.
The man died of heart attack, but 'we are investigating the matter', the official added.
Saurabh's shift ended at 6 p.m. Tuesday, but he stayed back late into the night.
He hailed from Rajasthan and was staying in a rented flat in Sector-46, the official added.
This is the second such incident in the past two months. On Feb 24, a software engineer was found dead in the bathroom of another call centre in Noida's Sector-61.
