Speed of economic reforms will increase post Left's withdrawal: Chidambaram
Jaipur, July 23 (ANI): Finance Minister P. Chidambaram today said that the speed of economic reforms in the country will increase after the Left Parties withdraw its support to the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government.
Talking to media persons here, Chidambaram said that even those parties who voted against the Government would be taken together in the process of economic reforms.

Commenting on the price rise issue, he said that the main reason of price rise is the hike in the prices of crude oil and effective steps are being taken in this direction.
He also expressed hope that with betters food production in future, the prices will come down.
About foreign investment in insurance sector, he said this sector is fully safe and the limit of direct foreign investment will be extended. (ANI)
