Nitish Katara's mother to host TV show
New Delhi, March 30 (IANS) Neelam Katara, mother of slain Nitish Katara, an MBA graduate, is to host a show 'Mother India' on news channel India TV from Monday onwards, said a statement from the channel.
Neelam Katara's son Nitish Katara was abducted and murdered by politician D.P. Yadav's son Vikas Yadav and his cousin Vishal Yadav for having intimate relations with Vikas Yadav's sister Bharti.
Neelam Katara will now be taking up cases through the show for women who have been oppressed and subjected to injustice, the release said.
'Mother India' will also focus on cases related to honour killings, dowry harassments, security for senior citizens, ragging of students, domestic violence and various other issues.
The show will be telecast seven days a week at 5.15 p.m. and 8.15 p.m.
