Congress denies ticket to minister from Meghalaya

New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) The Congress Thursday announced its candidates for the two Lok Sabha seats from Meghalaya, denying a ticket to sitting Shillong MP and Tribal Affairs Minister Paty Ripple Kyndiah.
Vincent H. Pala will be the party's candidate from Shillong in place of Kyndiah, and Debora C. Marak from the Tura constituency.
Polling for the two Lok Sabha constituencies in Meghalya would be held April 16.
