England, Flintoff to give a miss to pedalo incident Carribean hotel
Barbados (West Indies), Mar.26 (ANI): The England cricket team has refused to return to the hotel in St Lucia which was the scene of Andrew Flintoff's infamous pedalo incident.
Flintoff was stripped of the England vice-captaincy during the 2007 World Cup after his late-night trip to sea on a pedalo.
But, when Andrew Strauss' team arrive on the island on Monday for the final match of their Caribbean tour, they will not be staying at the St Lucian hotel.
Officially the switch has nothing to do with Flintoff's late-night, drunken escapade - but it will prevent the star all-rounder being ribbed by his team-mates.
England operations manager Phil Neale said: "We objected to the hotel in St Lucia. The rooms weren't very good and neither was the food."
"The change of hotel has nothing to do with Andrew Flintoff," The Sun quoted Neale, as saying. (ANI)
