New Zealand 351 for four on day one of Napier Test

Napier, March 26 (IANS) Ross Taylor and Jesse Ryder cracked centuries as New Zealand reached 351 for four at close of play on the first day of the second cricket Test at McLean Park here Thursday.

 

Taylor rode on his luck to score 151 and added 271 runs with Ryder (137 not out) to pull

 

 

New Zealand out of trouble after the hosts lost three wickets for 23 runs in the first session after electing to bat.

 

 

Ryder and James Franklin (26) were at the crease when stumps were drawn. Zaheer Khan took two for 94.
