Islamabad, Mar.22 (ANI): Jumping into the on-going fight between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Senate's Sports Committee, former captain Imran Khan has said that the committee does not has the authority to summon PCB chief Ijaz Butt.
"I don't think it is appropriate that a Senate body summons the PCB chief or the head of any sports body for grilling," The News qouted Khan, as saying.
Talking to media persons at the Pakistan Sports Complex here, Khan called for a total change in the working of sports associations in the country.
There is immense potential and talent in all walks of life including sports in the country. However, results cannot be achieved without a practical and result oriented system," he added.
