London, March 19 (IANS) Action movie star Chow Yun-Fat is giving up his trademark fighting scenes for his most peaceful acting role till date - as Chinese philosopher Confucius in a biopic.
The Hong Kong actor, who starred in films like 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' and 'Bulletproof Monk', rose to fame starring in a series of martial arts movies in the 1980s and 1990s.
Filming on the biopic is to begin April under director Hu Mei, reports contactmusic.com.
