Islamabad, July 20 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that war on terror is Pakistan's war and foreign forces cannot operate on its territory.

Addressing the Nation for the first time after assuming the post of Prime Minister, he said, "We should tell the world that we ourselves are victim of terrorism and we will leave no stone unturned to combat it. But we will not compromise on the sovereignty of Pakistan."

"No foreign power will be allowed to take action on Pakistani soil," the Daily Times quoted him, as saying.

Gilani also pledged to steer the country clear of crises and resolve the current problems.

He said a meeting of the coalition leaders would be held next week to devise a "comprehensive strategy" about the issues that Pakistan faced.

The nation would hear "good news" regarding the reinstatement of the sacked judges, he added. (ANI)
