Agra, Mar 18 (ANI): A religious caravan of around 200 Hindu seers on their way to Ayodhya received a warm welcome in Agra on Tuesday.

Organised under the aegis of the newly formed 'Hindu Raksha Manch', this procession began its journey from Haridwar.

Hundreds of residents and activists of Bajrang Dal welcomed the seers' convoy of 50 buses by showering flower petals and raising slogans.

"In the entire country, Hindu community has been severely attacked, even seers from the community are being targeted. Hindu seers have been detained by police on the charges of sedition and terrorism. We have organised this procession for the sake of Hindu religion and Hindu seers," said Madan Verma, an activist of Bajrang Dal. (ANI)
