Thousands of grieving fans will attend Goody's funeral
London, March 16 (IANS) Thousands of grieving fans will attend Jade Goody's funeral when she dies, fulfilling the cancer-stricken reality TV star's final wishes.
She has arranged giant TV screens to show the church service to the crowds expected to gather outside. Goody has organised every detail of the day, even picking a coffin made of oak from Royal Windsor Forest, reports thesun.co.uk.
It has been decided that a procession of seven cars will take her coffin from her home in Upshire, Essex, to the churchyard of St John, the Baptist, Buckhurst Hill. One is a Daimler, once used by the Queen Mum and another is a Rolls-Royce which was owned by the Sultan of Brunei.
A host of celebrities are expected to attend the funeral which could be the biggest public outpouring of grief since the death of Princess Diana.
'Jade (Goody) has it all organised to make sure she leaves this world in style. She has been inundated with letters from fans since she was diagnosed and knows how many people want to say goodbye to her,' said a source close to Goody.
Goody's spokesman Max Clifford said: 'She wants it to be a big celebration because it's her final farewell. It will be a very Jade Goody event, exactly the way she wants it.'
