London, March 15 (IANS) Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has a tough guy image. But he has confessed he is scared of rollercoasters.
'The Scorpion King' star admits he hates feeling trapped, and strapping into a nerve-wracking thrill ride leaves him on the verge of hyperventilating, reports contactmusic.com.
'It's not a fear of rollercoasters, it's a fear of getting strapped in, especially the bars. I attempted to (go on a rollercoaster once), but the moment the bars clamp down and I feel it on my chest, that's the moment I can't breathe,' he said.
Johnson was forced to talk his way out of a group ride during a recent trip to Disneyland in California with his 'Race to Witch Mountain' cast and crew.
'It's funny because we all took a big trip to Disney before we shot the film... We were walking around the rides and we had a tour guide with us, and I pulled the guide to one side and was like, 'What kind of ride is this?' and he was like, 'Oh its great, it's gonna go up and down and around', and I was like, 'Oh ok, I think I'll stay here',' he said.
