Washington, July 19 (ANI): Britney Spears' ex-hubby Kevin Federline is "absolutely delighted" that his prolonged custody battle with the singer has finally reached an agreement.
The former couple pair settled on the care of their two young sons on Thursday (17Jul08), following a bitter 18-month custody battle.
It has been reported that the fallen pop princess has agreed to give Federline, 30, sole custody of their boys Sean Preston and Jayden.
"Nobody could have anticipated the terms of events that have occurred. This was a two-year journey that will be halted at a point that is good for these children," Contactmusic quoted Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, as saying.
"Kevin's (goal) was not to get custody. Kevin's goal was to set up some kind of template so the mother of his children can co-parent," he added.
Spears, 26, is currently allowed two visits and one overnight stay each week and she will maintain her visitation rights. (ANI)
