Chris Brown's lawyer demands 'in chambers' hearing

Washington, Mar 13 (ANI): Popstar Chris Brown's lawyer has urged the court to hold an 'in chambers' hearing before the final hearing on April 6th.

 

According to TMZ.com the hearing, which will take place on March 23rd, will involve Rihann's testimony.

 

However Jane Robison of the Los Angeles District Attorney's office revealed that, as it is an 'in chambers' hearing not much will be revealed about the happenings.

 

"Since it's in chambers, we can't comment on anything that happens," US Weekly quoted Jane, as saying.

 

Jane also revealed that it is not mandatory for brown to be in attendance at the hearing.

 

On the other hand Rihanna's lawyer, Donald Etra, confirmed earlier that Rihanna will testify if required.]

 

The hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on March 23rd in front of L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg.

 

Meanwhile Brown, who allegedly attacked Rihanna and left her with a split lip, a bloody nose and bite marks on her hands, has been charged on 2 felony accounts and has been released on a bail of 50,000 dollars until a final hearing on April 6th. (ANI)
