Don Bradman's bats stolen in from Darwin museum

Melbourne, July 17 (ANI): Four framed Don Bradman cricket bats worth 40,000 dollars have been stolen from a sports complex in Darwin.

 

Thieves smashed a front window at Cricket and Football World on Bishop Street in Wollner on Thursday morning, police said.

 

They stole several valuable items, including four framed cricket bats used by the cricketing legend valued at 10,000 dollars each.

 

The thieves also took a framed Vivian Richards bat valued at 3,000 dollars, reports The Age.

 

Investigators dusted for fingerprints on Thursday morning, and police are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area to contact them.(ANI)
