Shontelle was Rihanna's senior in school

London, Mar 04 (ANI): New pop star Shontelle has revealed that she once trained in the army with Rihanna.

The Barbados entertainers trained in the military cadets before making it big as pop stars.

"Cadets is a sub-military programme which they do through schools and we actually trained with the real military," the Daily Star quoted Shontelle as saying.

Shontelle said that earlier in the school days she used to be Rihanna's senior, but in the current scenario Rihanna has taken over.

"There was a point where I was more senior than Rihanna and I was her drill sergeant. We laugh now that the tables are turned - Rihanna is the big boss and everyone looks up to her," Shontelle added.

Meanwhile, the newcomer's album Shontell-igence is said to be full of future hits. (ANI)
