Jay Kay's Ferrari trashed outside hotel

London, Mar 04 (ANI): Pop star Jay Kay, who is known for his exotic car collection, was left appalled when his valued Ferrari was trashed outside a hotel.

The 'Jamiroquai' hitmaker was staying in Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, when his car was trashed for no cause at all.

The Police has been quizzing 21-year-old cook Aaron Billington about an attack on the rare 227mph black Enzo Ferrari.

Billington, who lives in staff accommodation next to the seaside hotel, was also arrested on suspicion of causing 7,000 pounds worth of damage to the car.

However, Jay Kay aka Jason revealed that he had no clue as to who harmed his car.

"I don't know anything about what happened. I just came out in the morning and discovered it.It is a shame that this is what has happened to this country," the Daily Star quoted Jay Kay as saying.

"People just want to vandalise other people's things for no particular reason.I love the fact that Aldeburgh has never known anything as exciting as a smashed windscreen on an Enzo Ferrari," Jay Kay added.

Jay Kay also admitted that it was a very dazzling car, and he was saddened by the incident.

"It was not the most inconspicuous of cars," Jay Kay said.

Meanwhile, the hotel authority did not comment on the incident, but revealed that their chef was in custody.

"All we know is that our pastry chef is in custody," said Grahame Tiunion, operations director of Thorpeness and Aldeburgh Hotels. (ANI)
