PDP postpones Self-Rule seminar

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has decided to postpone the proposed seminar on Self-Rule that was scheduled to be held by the party in Srinagar on 15th March 2009.
According to a PDP spokesman, in view of the announcement of the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections, the party has decided to defer the proposed seminar and the same would be now held after the conclusion of the poll process.
The party, according to the spokesman, would be announcing a new date for the seminar after the Lok Sabha polls.
It is to mention here that the party is planning to organise a series of seminars on self-rule resolution as the only viable resolution of Kashmir issue.
