Fergie's masterful mind games with Mourinho

London, Feb.27 (ANI): Manchester United coach-cum-manager Sir Alex Ferguson has proved that he is the king of footie managerial mind games.

That is the view of sports psychologist Ken Way, whose clients include Premier League and England stars.

Manchester United gaffer Sir Alex clashed countless times with the self-proclaimed "Special One" Jose Mourinho when he was manager of rivals Chelsea.nd The Sun got Ken to put them under the spotlight as the pair went head-to-head for the first time in 18 months as United travelled to Italy to take on Jose's Inter Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Just like the old days, Fergie and Mourinho used their press conferences to try to give their team the upper hand - but Ken insists Fergie is still number one at talking the talk.

"The beauty is that Alex doesn't do this after considered analysis - he simply knows what is the right thing to say," said Ken.

"Mourinho is most interesting. It appeared he couldn't keep quiet in his Press conferences and played into Fergie's hands," he added. (ANI)
