Police to file chargesheets in Mumbai terror attacks on Wednesday
Mumbai, Feb 24 (ANI): Mumbai Police will file a 5000-page chargesheet in connection with the Mumbai terror attacks on Wednesday.
"The nearly 5000-page chargesheet is ready and will be filed before a Metropolitan Magistrate tomorrow," Ujwal Nikam, the special Public Prosecutor said.
Officials said that Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman Kasab, the lone survivour of last year's Mumbai terror attacks, will face charges ranging from waging war against the country to murder, attempt to murder and other provisions of the Indian Penal Code and stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
The chargesheet is expected to name around 20 wanted people, including Yosuf Muzzamil and Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi, the suspected mastermind of the Mumbai carnage. (ANI)
