Washington, February 24 (ANI): Hugh Jackman revealed that he had 'the time of his life' hosting the recent Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
The Aussie actor was signed to breathe fresh air into the ceremony following a preceding decline in TV audiences.
The first-time-Oscar-host opened the evening with his two song-and-dance routines with Anne Hathaway, Beyonce Knowles, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, reports Us magazine.
The event saw Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' sweeping eight gongs, including Best Film and Best Director.
Late actor Heath Ledger was honoured with Best Supporting Actor, which was by his mother, father and sister, while Penelope Cruz bagged the Best Supporting Actress category.
Kate Winslet won the Best Actress trophy while Sean Penn took home the Best Actor gong. (ANI)
