New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) today bagged construction equipment orders worth Rs 241 crores from Indonesia, Singapore, Tunisia and Malawi.
BEML has bagged export supply orders for 93 equipments valued at Rs 158 crores from M/s Pt. Fajar Bumi Sakti of Indonesia. These equipments consist of hydraulic excavators, rear dump trucks and bulldozers.
A pilot batch of eight equipments has been deployed at KPC Mines, one of the world's largest open cast coal mines in Indonesia. Additional supplies of equipment will be deployed at KPC Mines, Tengarong Mines and Tabang Mines of Indonesia.
BEML has bagged another order from M/s Far East Resources and Mining Company Private Limited, Singapore for supply of 34 equipments valued at Rs 49 crores for their coal mines at Tarakon, Indonesia.
The company has also bagged export orders worth Rs. 34.50 crores from two African countries. The orders comprise 35 equipment valuing Rs. 21.50 crores received from Tunisia and 18 equipment valuing Rs. 13 crores from Malawi. The equipment ranges from small size bulldozers to back hoe loaders, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators etc.
BEML has established its presence in more than 52 countries and has been consistently focusing on the international business activities with major thrust on Asia Pacific, Middle East and African markets.
To increase its overseas market penetration, the company has set up its offices in China, Malaysia and Brazil.
Further, BEML plans to establish a Sales Office cum Repair Facility and Spares Depot at Balikpapan in Indonesia within the next three months. (ANI)
