Sixth pay commission benefits over 4.5 million central government employees

New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): The Recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission approved by the Government has benefited over 4.5 million Central Government Employees including Defence forces and Para-Military forces and over 30 lakh Pensioners.
This was stated by acting Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, while presenting the Interim Budget- 2009-2010 in the Lok Sabha today.
He expressed the hope that this will not only improve the quality of administration but also help the economy. (ANI)
