Parents of prospective brides and grooms in Indore beat up matrimonial agent
Indore, Feb 15 (ANI): Parents of prospective brides and grooms here got agitated and beat up a matrimonial agent.
Around 10.000 parents who were invited to attend the all religion international matrimonial interaction lost their cool on finding that there were just fifty prospective brides and grooms present at the venue.
They demanded that the money, which they had paid in advance, be returned to them.
"I don't know what went wrong between the organiser and the people. The people were very angry and they started beating him up. They would have probably killed him. I helped the man get out of the crowd surrounding him. The people pelted stones that hit me and some media people present on the spot," said Rajesh Hingankar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Indore.
Incidentally, the organiser of this alliance parade, Trilok Jain of the matrimonial agency 'Rishte-hi-Rishte' was jailed on an earlier occasion on charges of cheating. (ANI)
