Lucknow, Feb 13, (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Government on Friday presented a surplus budget of Rs. 1,33,596.98 crore for fiscal 2009-10.
The budget estimates are 19 percent more than the previous year.
The proposed expenditure stands at 1,33,596.98 crore, as against an estimated income of Rs. 1,21,502.96 crore.
After taking Rs. 12,215 crore from the public accounts and the previous year's balance of Rs. 1,231.75 crore, the State Government has shown an estimated surplus of Rs. 1,352.73 crore. (ANI)
