Riled Ronaldo launches verbal volley against Inter Milan boss Mourinho
London, Feb 7 (ANI): Ace winger Cristiano Ronaldo launched a blistering attack on Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho, saying that Manchester United will overcome their Italian rivals in the Champions League round of 16 encounter between the two sides.
Earlier, Mourinho claimed he believes that Ronaldo was overrated, and that Nerazzurri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the better player.
Ronaldo was part of the Manchester United team that won the Champions League last season, and was also awarded the Ballon d'Or.
"I respect everybody's opinion but let me tell both of them all the trophies for best player last season - FIFA, Champions League, FIFpro, Ballon D'Or - are in my house, not Ibrahimovic's," The Sun quoted Ronaldo, as saying.
"Inter are a strong team, with some great players, but we are better than them and I strongly believe we can beat them. Eliminating them will bring us one step closer to the final," he added. (ANI)
