World's oldest blogger dies at 108, after posting final message
Sydney, July 14 (ANI): An Australian woman renowned as the world's oldest blogger died at the age of 108, after posting her final message.
Olive Riley, of Woy Woy on NSW's central coast, passed away in a nursing home on July 13.
She will be mourned by family and an international readership in the thousands.
"It was mind blowing to her. She had people communicating with her from as far away as Russia and America on a continual basis, not just once in a while," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her great grandson Darren Stone, of Brisbane, as saying.
Riley posted more than 70 entries on her blog since February 2007.
On her blog, she mused on her day-to-day life.
She also recounted living through two world wars and raising three children on her own while working as a cook and a barmaid.
In her final post, dated June 26, an increasingly frail Olive noted she couldn't 'shake off that bad cough'. (ANI)
