'Taken' tops weekend box office
Washington, Feb 02 (ANI): The spy thriller 'Taken' has topped the weekend box office after raking in 24.6 million dollars.
According to studio estimates, the Kevin James comedy 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop' landed the second spot with 14 million dollars, reports E! Online.
'The Uninvited,' a remake of a South Korean thriller that pits two sisters against their potentially evil stepmother also made its debut in third place, came third with 10.5 million dollars.
Paramount's 'Hotel for Dogs' stood fourth with 8.7 million dollars and the Clint Eastwood drama 'Gran Torino' rounded off the top five with 8.6 million dollars.
The top-grossing weekend films are:
