Mahesh-Mark moves into Australian Open final
The Indo-Bahamian duo Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles has moved into the finals of men’s doubles event of the Australian Open defeating Kubot/Marach 6-3, 6-1.
Bhupathi and Knowles successfully converted 4/5 break points and then didn’t loss any of their serve to register a comfortable win over the unseeded Polish-Austrian pair of Lukasz Kubot and Oliver Marach.

This is their first ever grand slam final entry together. They will now face second seeded American and two-time champions Bob and Mike Bryan who defeated the fourth seeded Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes.
Bhupathi and Knowles have captured three titles in seven finals. Both had reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open last year, where they lost to Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich.
In another match, Mark and mixed doubles partner Zi Yan lost to Wozniak/Nestor in the second round. The Canadians won 7-6, 6-4.
