Rolling Stones star wants to get his finances in order
London, Jan 26 (IANS) Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has hired solicitors to get his financial affairs in order.
Thesun.co.uk reports that a few irregularities were spotted which need to be rectified immediately.
Wood earned 2.5 million pounds for the band's tour in 2007 but that has all been spent. Wood's finances were being managed by his stepson Jamie.
A source said: 'Ron feels everyone in his family is benefiting from his name except him. He wants it sorted out so he can start again. Keith Richards sent a message of support and expensive jewellery over Christmas to cheer his mate up. He also told him to get things sorted out.
'Most people see Mick Jagger as the force behind the Stones. He is with the money, but Keith is the spiritual driving force. He wants his pal out of trouble so the Stones can hit the road next year without any hiccups.'
