'The flag measuring 21 feet long and 14 feet wide will be hoisted on the top of a 60 feet tall pole at the Regal Talkies square this Republic Day,' said Prakash Rathore, convenor of the Jhanda Uncha Rahe Hamara campaign.
Claiming that such a large flag has never been hoisted anywhere in the country so far, Rathore said the pole is being specially fixed at the square.
It took 15 days to make the flag.
'The campaign members took the decision keeping in mind that the country has carved a niche in the fields of science, arts, industries, trade and commerce. The country has also followed principles of healthy democracy since independence,' Rathore said.
