London, Jan 25 (IANS) Hollywood actress Kate Hudson is disappointed over the dearth of female centric films in Hollywood.
Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying: 'It is very hard to get female-driven movies made. It's hard to get boys into the theatre. That's just the way it is, unfortunate for us ladies.'
The actress's disconcert for the drought in female lead movies came after her exhaustion of starring in only romantic comedies like 'You, Me and Dupree' and 'My Best Friend's Girl'.
She added: 'What you need is a high concept - a movie that women want to see that men don't feel like you're twisting their arm to see.'
