Robinho faces a birthday dressing down from Man City coach
London, Jan.23 (ANI): Brazilian footballer Robinho may face a birthday dressing-down from Manchester City coach Mark Hughes for skipping back home from a training session in the Tenerife Islands.
Robinho, who is being paid 32.5 million pounds, has already been told that he will be fined over 300,000 pounds or two weeks in wages for his misdemeanor.
Hughes is also ready to hammer out an 'I'm in charge' message to Robinho when the pair meet for talks on Sunday,- Robinho's 25th birthday, reports The Daily Express.
Hughes said: "Robbie left our training camp without permission. He felt he had personal issues he wanted to address and he made the decision to leave the camp and go back to Brazil. Obviously that wasn't with my permission, but it is not practical to get him back here to Tenerife due to time differences."
"Once he is back, I will sit down and explain my feelings and decisions will be made after that," Hughes added.
"Robbie rang me and we had a brief chat. He understands that we need to address this and we will, "Hughes said. (ANI)
