Arjun Singh inaugurates Nehru Gram Bharati Vishwavidyalaya at Allahabad

Allahabad, Jan 21 (ANI): Union Minister for Human Resource Development Arjun Singh today inaugurated Nehru Gram Bharati Vishwavidyalaya at Dubawal in Allahabad.
He also laid the foundation stone of the Administrative Bloc of the university.
Nehru Gram Bharati Vishwavidyalaya has been established in accordance with the ideals of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who always wanted the establishment of institutes of higher education in rural areas so that the rural children need not go to cities for higher or technical education.
The university was granted recognition last year under section-3 of the UGC Act. (ANI)
