Vadi/Udaipur (Rajasthan), July 12 (ANI): A male panther killed a female one in a forest area in Vadi village, 20 kilometers away from Udaipur city, when she refused to mate with him.

The incident took place when a five-year-old male panther got aggressive when two-year-old female panther refused his advances.

"He attacked on her neck and due to excessive hemorrhage and bleeding the female panther died," said Gajendra Loda, a vet.

"It is rare for panthers to behave in such a manner," Loda added. (ANI)
