Music teacher charged with nearly 400 sexual offences!
Melbourne, July 11 (ANI): A music teacher from Country Victoria has been charged with about 400 sexual offences, following accusations that he raped underage girls and filmed them to make sexually explicit movies.
Twelve girls have allegedly become 49-year-old Colin Harold Doo's victims.
Doo, who is a resident of Romsey, faces 22 counts of rape, 100 counts of committing an indecent act, and more than 200 charges of producing child pornography.
Some of the girls who became his victims were aged between 10 and 16.
Documents tendered to the Melbourne Magistrates' Court, before which Doo briefly appeared through videolink on Friday, allege that he raped three of the girls, and installed an optical surveillance device in his toilet and the toilet of another person.
The court documents also allege that Doo administered drugs to one girl, paid another girl for sex, and placed the legs of a girl on a padded chain and suspended it from the ceiling.
Doo is also accused of stalking one girl by hiring a private investigator, of being the holder of a prohibited weapon, and of possessing ammunition whilst not holding a firearms licence.
Magistrate Felicity Broughton has granted a six-week adjournment because of the amount of material investigators needed to sort through.
"I have looked at the brief and it is understandable that it is going to be a very time consuming process," the Australian quoted her as saying.
She ordered Doo to appear in court on August 29. (ANI)
