National Panchayati Raj Conference to begin on Friday
New Delhi, Jan 15: With a view to focus on the initiatives to empower the grass root Governance in the country, a two day National Conference of Chairpersons of District Committee's and CEO' s of Zila Parishad will be held from Friday.
The conference to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister will discuss the recommendations to exploring the possibilities of making Panchayati Raj System an effectual tool to change the face of rural India.

Panchayati Raj minister said a lot need to be done to make this third tier of governance more effective.
