Seven killed in two blasts in Iraq

Baghdad, Jan 12 (DPA) At least seven people were killed and about a dozen injured Monday in two separate blasts in downtown Baghdad, the Voices of Iraq (VOI) news agency reported, citing police sources.

 

Four people were killed and six injured in the Iraqi capital when a suicide bomber blew himself up earlier Monday.

 

 

The bomber triggered a bomb attached to a car in the middle of a group of civilians at the entrance to a market in the New Baghdad district.

 

 

In the second blast that occurred near Kahramana Square in central Baghdad killed two policemen and injured about six other people, the news agency reported.
