Keri Russell signs up for animated Wonder Woman

Washington, July 10 (ANI): American actress Keri Russell has signed up to play Wonder Woman in a new animated superhero movie.

The Mission: Impossible III star was one of the names linked to moviemaker Joss Whedon's now-shelved Wonder Woman film.

"The story (of the animated Wonder Woman) is funny and action-packed and adult in a nice way," Contactmusic quoted the actress as saying.

Other behind the screen stars who will be joining Russell are Alfred Molina, Rosario Dawson and Virginia Madsen.

The Wonder Woman DVD will be out in stores in February (09). (ANI)
