New Delhi, Jan 11 (IANS) Imagine an airplane that can morph into a helicopter while in flight. A new TV show 'Cool Stuff: How it Works' will now take viewers on an informative journey through its secrets and of many hi-tech gadgets and equipment available in the world.
To be hosted by popular international host Steve Truitt, the show, starting on Discovery Channel Sunday evening, will be a seven-episode series. It will showcase a fast speed electric car doing zero to 100 km/hr in three seconds and even a fire suit that can withstand flames as hot as 2,000 degrees.
'The show will allow viewers to explore the science behind every gadget from high speed cameras to fireproof jackets to secrets of the microwave oven,' said Rajiv Bakshi, director (Marketing and Communications), India, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific.
'The series presents unique, breathtaking and astounding technology, bringing to centrestage unprecedented inventions that signify technological advancements that we have made,' he added.
'Cool Stuff: How it Works' will use visuals to capture the key principles behind each appliance, invention and system to explain exactly how the technology works.
It will air at 9.00 p.m. Sundays.
