"Only Allah can save Pak"
Saeedabad (Pakistan), July 10 (ANI): Senior PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim, who was the front runner for the post of prime minister before Yousuf Raza Gilani was sworn in after February 18 polls, has expressed his dissatisfaction over the performance of the PPP-led coalition government, saying that only Allah could take care of the country.
He said that the government had lost its writ and "only Allah would take care of the country".
The people were committing suicides due to hunger and misery "but the rulers are busy in foreign tours and it is natural for the people to be worried", said Fahim.
He expressed these views while talking with journalists during an inspection of the crack in Rohri Canal near New Saeedabad and visit of the affected area, reported The News.
He said that the government had given the nation the gifts of price hike, lawlessness, rising prices of petroleum products, gas and electricity.
Fahim said that the PPP was not anyone's property and that he wanted to see the party strong and organized. He said he had no intention of forming a separate party. (ANI)
