Like other Yash Raj films this one is too based on a love story but in a gripping plot with elements of love, romance, conflicts and the struggle to come out as victorious in life.
The movie is set to be released on April 27. Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee are in the lead roles. The film showcases a car-racer whose life takes a sudden turn following a tragic accident. The protagonist and his family fight with all odds to come out safely from the web of troubles. It is a film about human spirit and problems that most of us encounter in our daily lives.
Director Sidharth Anand marked his presence with Salaam Namastey, the movie based on live-in relationship. On Ta Ra Rum Pum, Sidharth quoted that the film has been produced for larger audience and with love, romance, family and car racing in the background there is lot action for the new genre. The name of the film seems to be derived from the one liner Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum Ta Ra Rum Pum, which means that one has to face many ups and downs in life.
The story is about Rajveer Singh (Saif) who was an ordinary pit crew member in a racing team but has immense passion for making it big in the racing course. Luck takes him to the driving seat and overnight success transferred him from Rajveer to RV â?? the race car driver. Then there is love story between him and Radhika (Rani) ending with marriage and two children.
However, their life took a dangerous turn with a sudden accident and that forces him to leave the race track. The film is about ups and down and how they fought against all obstacles to emerge as winners in life's race track. With all available movie preview information it looks a must watch movie but can only be cleared after its release.
