London, Jan 8 (IANS) Batman sequel 'The Dark Knight' bagged the maximum awards at the 35th annual People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles recently.
The action film bagged favourite superhero, movie, on-screen match-up, action movie and cast at the close of the event, reported contactmusic.com.
The cast and crew of the the film that includes Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart were given a standing ovation.

Director Christopher Nolan remembered Heath Ledger, in his brief acceptance speech.
'Here's to Heath,' he said as he raised one of the awards the cast and crew were presented with, to the heavens.
'The Dark Knight' was the last film Ledger completed before his tragic death a year ago.
