New Delhi, Jan 6 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuesday took disciplinary action against two of its Chhattisgarh MPs for 'anti-party activities'.

'While Tara Chandra Sahu, the Lok Sabha member from Bhilai, has been expelled, Rajya Sabha member Shiv Prakash Singh has been suspended,' a BJP functionary told IANS here Tuesday.

They were found involved in anti-party activities in the recently concluded assembly elections, the functionary said.

'They were issued show-cause notices and the decision was taken in the meeting of the party's parliamentary board three days ago,' the functionary added.
