Shooting of Bollywood film Downtown starts

Mumbai, Jan 4 (ANI): Produced under the banner of 4th Dimension Film and directed by Andalib Majrooh Sultanpuri, shooting of Bollywood film Downtown started.

Downtown is based on father-son relationship. The movie is introducing newaces--Akhil Rajendra and Smiley Suri, whose only claim to fame is filmalyug.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Khanna who plays the role of father in the movie, said that the reason why he decided to do this movie was the novel script.

"This film is about difference between two generations. I am playing role of a rich man, but my son in this movie is a spendthrift and a foolish kind of a person. But one day he evolves into being a better person and he again come back to the right track," he added.

Director, Andalib Sultanpuri said, "Mumbai city in itself plays a character in this movie. This city is an integral part of our story; our producer gave idea about this movie, later we executed on the script of the movie.. So in this way I think Downtown is an interesting name."

Sanjeev Darshan has composed the music of the movie.(ANI)
