Hyderabad, Jan 3 (IANS) Two unidentified men riding a motorbike threw a dead body on the road and sped away when police tried to intercept their vehicle in the busy Borabanda area here Saturday, an official said.
The incident triggered panic in the area. The police were trying to establish the identity of the vicitm, who was suspected to have been murdered Friday.
The police suspect that the two youths were trying to dispose off the body after murdering the man.
A team of policemen were conducting routine checking of vehicles in Bharatnagar neighbourhood in Borabanda and the motorbike riders ignored an order to stop and sped away. The policemen chased them but the youths managed to escape after throwing a gunny bag on the ground. The policemen opened the bag and to their utter shock found a dead body inside.
